Elite Careers

Professional players and performers face unique challenges when facing career transition.  There is always a sense that the career will not last forever and may be anxiety about “where to from here?”.   ELITE CAREERS is a specialist service for sports professionals and physical performers, assisting with career development and career transition.

Lois Keay-Smith, Principal of Career Wisdom has worked as a Career and Education Consultant with the Western Force Rugby (RugbyWA), contracted via the Rugby Union Players’ Association for Australia, elite athletes via the Australian Institute of Sport and dance artists, performers and choreographers. She continues to assist individual athletes and professional players who are referred to her, with career counselling, self marketing and career transition.

Hanging up the Pointes

Lois has a Masters degree in Career Development and an Executive Certificate in Athlete and Career Development (Advanced).  She is a professional member of the Career Development Association of Australia, a member of Ausdance and Friends of WA Ballet.
